What needs the app
Everything you can read on this site — posts, species and places — stays open to anyone. Anything that changes something is done in the app:
- liking and commenting on a post, or replying to a comment,
- posting your own photos and identifying the birds in them,
- following other birders,
- searching species, people and places, and
- reporting a post from your account.
